At Regeneron, we are committed to using the power of science to bring needed medicines to patients. That is why we take a rigorous, highly collaborative approach to scientific research and keep the patient experience at the center of our work. It’s also why we engage in the public policymaking process. We believe good public policy that solves the healthcare challenges of our time by advancing science and patient access to innovation requires responsible and meaningful stakeholder engagement. Laws and regulations touch every part of drug development – from discovery to clinical development to manufacturing to regulatory approval – and impact how, when, and even whether patients can access our medicines. It’s critical that lawmakers understand the effect various policies have on our business, scientific innovation, and most importantly, the physicians and patients we serve. Regeneron PAC is one advocacy tool the company uses to enhance our voice in the policymaking process by providing opportunities to engage with and educate lawmakers working on key issues.

“The Regeneron PAC enables us to harness the voluntary contributions of eligible employees to achieve visibility in the political process, and to support policies that impact our business and the interests of the patients and physicians we serve.”
Leonard S. Schleifer M.D., Ph.D.

What is a PAC?
A political action committee (PAC) is an entity that enables people who share common interests (such as employees of a company) to pool their resources to make contributions to lawmakers or candidates for elected office. While companies cannot directly contribute to lawmakers, they can sponsor membershipresourced PACs to engage in the political process on behalf of their members. PACs are regulated by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and subject to strict reporting and transparency requirements as well as receipt and contribution limits.
What is Regeneron PAC?
Regeneron Political Action Committee, Inc. (or Regeneron PAC) is a non-partisan company PAC registered with the Federal Election Commission. It’s a way for our employees to join together to help advance a legislative and regulatory environment that allows Regeneron to deliver on our patient-centered, science-driven mission. It is an advocacy tool that the company leverages as part of a comprehensive government affairs strategy to enhance our voice in the policymaking process through opportunities to engage with and educate federal lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.
